OUR FOUNDER
Karrie Zuccarello’s unwavering commitment to helping nonprofit professionals find success and joy led her to establish Evolve Philanthropy in 2017. Her philosophy bypasses conventional advisory roles, providing hands-on collaboration with nonprofits to achieve their objectives. With nearly two decades of dedicated service within the nonprofit sector, Karrie leverages her wealth of experience and steadfast devotion to serve as a true fundraising partner to her clients.
Karrie’s career has spanned the landscape of nonprofits, both large and small. She honed her capital campaign expertise in higher education fundraising at the University of Chicago and Indiana University during their respective multi-billion-dollar campaigns. She has also held prominent leadership positions within arts and cultural organizations, most notably as Chief Development Officer and Vice President at Conner Prairie. These roles have equipped her with the empathy and knowledge required to effectively guide clients through staffing transitions in interim leadership capacities.
Her journey into the world of fundraising began in the trenches of special event management, where she developed a “soup to nuts” mentality with the March of Dimes in Pennsylvania and Chicago.
As a fundraising partner, Karrie remains engaged at every juncture of the fundraising process. Her expertise is particularly strong in capital campaign planning and execution, navigating staff transitions, and designing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies.
